Hey dudes

Just thought i'd check on here.

We're looking for a compitent guitarist in the Devon area  to fulfill lead and rythm roles for established Exeter Thrash band Sekhmet.

Must be able to comit fully to the band as we will be gigging rigorously through out the year, also able to attend regular practises on Tuesday and Thursdays. Must have own equipment (Guitar, amp, hands ;)) 18+ prefferably.

Our influences are Metallica, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Slayer, Pantera, Sabbat, Xentrix, Onslaught, Testament, Black Sabbath.

holy shite i wish i could! problems are:
1. i have school with GCSEs coming up soon

2. i'm not 18+  :(

I'm under 18 too, and trust, don't put yourself down cos of it.

I've seen 16 year olds play in amazing bands.

My mate's band Halide is great and they're 16/17.

Hey, we're not to worried about age, 18+ is just prefferable because we like go out and drink beer..... alot ;-)

But yeah we'l be starting tryouts after we get back from the first studio session, so April onwards.

On a side note, with the depature of our old guitarist it does mean that the all the guitar tracks are going to be BKP'ed :-) my set of piggys just arrived at Mansons today, picking them up tomorrow :-D

I take it the place is for a rhythm guitarist and not the lead? Or is it shared out.

Although I got the gig. Funny old world.

Btw I'm fitting nailbombs to my maverick not just randomly rubbing things in.  :P
