Title: Warpig Cap Head X Hex Heaad. ANy tonal Differences?

Hails Guys,i was checking the pics and i want to know if theres any change in the sound between the regular warpig hexa pole pieces and the Cap head pole pieces.

Well I've never tried either but I know the answer is yes.

Hex screws tend to tighten the sound a fair amount. If your pup is already not very thick sounding, it may thin it out some too so be careful. But I can imagin positive results in a Warpig, notably more articulation and a tighter low end.

I remember Tim telling me that normal screw polepieces would give the WP a bit more treble (no bad thing with that pickup).

Not sure how much difference there would be with hex versus cap polepieces but I bet there will be 'some'.

Cap polepieces spread the magnetic field more, which - I guess - gives you more bass and more compression.

Interesting so..do you think that, if i ask for some extra hex screws toswapbetween my warpig,nailbomb, and possibly miracle man and painkiller.. would tim sells me some?
