Anyone out there had any experience of either of these?
Was looking to get a portastudio to record our practices etc, these two seemed like the main contenders, both have phantom power mics the tascam has 2 simultaneos track recording while the fostex has four, and is a bit cheaper.
But there arent any tone controls on the FOSTEX. Just wondered what the sound quality on the recordings was like? Didnt want to use the often bias magazine reviews as guidance.
Any input would be greatly appreciated,
