Does anyone own or have any nice things to say about hayden peacemaker. Is it worth buying an ashdown for a cheaper price(the fallen angel i think is the same as the hayden peacemaker). can anyone give me any info on these amps? or any equivalent suggestions. randall rh50t or other valve amps for around 500.

The Fallen Angel is nothing at all like the Peacemaker. Before the companies split into two they were both in the line up. The Peacemaker has more of a boutique Marshall meets Fender vibe, whereas the Fallen Angel is modern voiced high gain.
I've got one of the pre-split UK made Fallen Angels and it's a fantastic amp that was great value for money. The new Chinese made ones with DSP aren't so well regarded, but I've not played one, so I don't know if this is just snobbery. If you can pick up a second hand one I'd say go for it.

everyone who has mentioned the new chinese made fallen angels have said that the build (and perhaps sound?) quality is absolute shite.

I'm included in that 'everyone' and I stand by that.

I'm not sure about the build quality coz I only had it for about two month but the sound was indeed shitee. The head was very light though, but maybe I'm just thinking that coz my VH100R is a heavy bar-steward.
