I've installed dimarzio straplocks on my warlock and theyve been perfect, but when I put some on my ESP EC-400, they now start to come out after a little bit of playing.
I used the thin screws because they matched the originals the best ( I thought ).
Should I put the thicker, black ones in instead? I don't want it to hurt the guitar if theyre too big.
Any tips?
Thanks.

upto you if you want them on for good then drill the guitar holes alittle bigger and put the bigger screws in

glue the end of a c--ktail stick into the screw hole, leave for 24 hours then screw the strap buttons back on

Usually whenever someone wants to put strap locks into their guitar but the original hole is too big for the screw that came with the strap locks. I'll get a tooth pick and put a little wood glue onto it and stick that sucker in there. You can immediately screw the strap locks on seeing wood glue isn't an over kill on how strong it is but it will defiently hold the straps in. And if you ever want to take them out, it's not a problem! Wood glue is great stuff to use.

similar to the two previous posts, I just use some matchsticks and wood glue. leave overnight then put the screws back in - works a treat everytime.
