Hi guys ive posted about it before, but im finally getting on with upgrading my dean cadillac select, its mahogany neck/body, all over binding, quilted maple top in the amberburst finish with a plain black wing headstock, originally fitted with gold harware.
Got a few parts, mainly the new wiring/pots and the posts for the new gotoh tune o matic and tailpiece, the rest is en route as we speak, swapping all the hardware for black and so far with just the posts in place it really pops and makes the wood look even better then it already did :-)
Just thinking about the pickups, i love my miracle man matched set so i know i want one of those in the bridge (great rythm chug) but i want something different for the neck, not sure what tho, i ideally want something that is good for tapping/solo work and a more trebbly voicing then the miracle man, as ive stated before i play mainly heavy stuff like machinehead/chimaira.
Cheers guys, youre always a great help :-)

Great looking guitar, the Cadillac! You might want to look into the Painkiller neck. You would have to ask Tim about how well the MM and the Painkiller will mesh in a Caddy, tho.

Hey...wanna show us your up-graded baby?

I remember someone posted a clip of a MM loaded Dean Caddy.
I can't remember the name of the band or song but it was something epic sounding.
Anyone remember?

I don't remember a Cadillac off hand but I do remember this clip using a Dean V.
