I want to know which BKP would best suit this guitar. the body is all Maple . the guitar is entirely too "bright" it has a very thin sound.i am looking for a Old School Metal tone.Judas Priest, Accept,Scorpions e.t.c.. i have tried numerous pickups . but they all seem to bright and thin in this guitar. any suggestions??

Is that the star-shaped guitar with a Kahler?  I always liked the look of them.

I would guess Painkillers for that old-skool metal, but that's not based on personal experience.  And on second thoughts, maybe they'd also be too bright in that maple.  Let's see what the chaps have to say.
