I ordered a Bare Knuckle Nailbomb yesterday and the total said it was 84.55 euros. They had originally posted 90 euros per pickup and I thought it was fishy but I went ahead anyways. I looked it up in US currency and the total would of been $112.05 dollars so it worked out. Even if it was still 97.55 euros (the pickup plus shipping), it would of came out to around $130.00 dollars so I still would of had enough money in my account.
Today I looked at my bank account and it said it there was a withdrawl of $167.05 which also caused an over draft causing ME to have to pay a fee. Was there something I missed or is it just a mistake in the order? Perhaps theres a hidden fee no one told me about?
-
hmm.. double check your order. i always only paid pickup (plus any cover i asked) + shipping fee ..
-
I made sure I did, I looked back and even re-did the order and it was exactly what it came out too. One exposed nailbomb (no cover) in black.
-
The Nailbomb is listed at £90 on this site, so $167 is about right.

aaaaahh, yes... the prices arent in euros, they are in british pounds ;)
-
Yeah, I was thinking about that in class today and I remembered in my head that they never used Euros. You have no idea how embarressing that is and it made sense after that; but yeah, I got an email from one of the BK customer services and it makes sense now.
Sorry for the ignorance, I don't normally deal outside of US currency and I apologize for that.

wow that just ruined my life. I too thought they were in euros. I seriously don't think i'm going to get a BK pickup now. It's going to come out to like 200 US dollars for a painkiller, while i can just get a SD for like 70. I want a BK so bad, but i'm currently not allowed to spend that much money.
-
Hey in London they can't even get it right.
According to shop keepers money from Northern Ireland (part of the UK) is worth less than English money.
When you are a couple of thousand miles (or more) away such an misunderstanding is going to happen now and again.

Yep, strong economies suck arse! :<

Dude I'm really sorry, can remember well how it sucks to badly want something and be on a tight budget.
shite is once you have a job that brings in the money, what you won't have anymore is time to enjoy all the goods, and you will just wish to get ya time back and forget all the money...
-
whats worse is that i have enough money sitting in front of me. i'm just not allowed to spend that much. i have to save up for college in 2 years. anyway, even if i could spend it, i'm not quite sure i would. I guess i'll just have to keep my eyes out in the seconds out forum. anyone here want to sell me a pickup?

LOL, fortunately it was only a 21 dollar difference so I wasn't really pissed. If anything I was mad at myself for being an idiot but hey, we all make mistakes.

haha, yeah, i always amused me how england expected us to take their money, but refused to take ours...

I wonder if Tim has any 2nds or ex display or summin he'd sell, for a custom pickup company things like accidental cosmetic knocks and scratches would prolly be enough to chuck em in a bargain bin.
