Is there a BKP that is similar to the Duncan JB? In terms of versatility, harmonics etc.
Cheers

Holy Diver.
-
Already got one!
-
well then ur set arent yu
-
But I have another guitar planned!
-
well how do you want the sound to vary from your holydiver?
-
More modern. I got the holydiver for Ozzy, Badlands, Zep, ACDC etc.
-
oh yea, then i need some singles to match!
-
are you open to ceramic magnet options? what kind of guitar is this going in? What bands sounds do you have in mind?
-
Superstrat. Hardtail charvel.
Sabbath, Black Label Society etc, but its gotta be versatile incase I need to whip it out for some Hendrix or bluesy stuff.
Edit: Maybe a Les Paul
-
Miracle Man?
-
Nailbomb? It's great for modern, extremely versatile big harmonics. Chris George from Waysted and The Marshall Band uses a Nailbomb in the bridge of one of his Les Paul guitars, sounds awesome!
-
Chris George live is great.
I`ll let you know when guitar specs are finalised.
Now wheres Bob Johnson?!
-
To me the Nailbomb sounds like a modern and more agressive, more articulate JB. It has a wide open, singing lead sound with a lot of harmonics.
-
I probably wouldn't go miracle man, I'm not sure it would be vintage-y enough for Sabbath. Nailbomb is probably your best bet.
As for singles... do you play distorted leads at all? If so, I'd say trilogies, but they're the only BKP single coils I own so hey, what do I know....
