I took my Schecter Omen 6 to Jonathon at Feline Guitars yesterday to get a Warpig and MQ fitted. Both finished in distressed black covers! Re-strung it with 11-52 strings tuned down to C and it sounds like an earthquake! Especially combined with the BBE sonic maximiser I bought from him too!!

Now this is a must see! :D

Coll Johnny.I am thinking about getting a sonic max(in pedal form) when I go to the USA in a couple of weeks.

sonic max's are wierd things. When you first get them, they sound like the best thing that's ever happened to your tone, they just make everything sound better. After a while though, you might take it out of the chain and realize it sounds like you just took a pile of blankets off of your speaker cab...
anyways...
get us some pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The difference they make to your tone is amazing! Have a try on a HBE Dos Mos pedal too if you get the chance, they sound so nice driving a clean amp with a strat or tele. 8)

They sound like you took the blankets off your cab when you put it in the loop not after, which is the why I wanted one! :?

A rather special axe that we're making for him
That flame will be wicked once we have enhanced it and given a finish to the guitar
No -sadly it wont be ready for the LGS
Some updated On the Bench pix on my site

How much is that beauty costing?
-
Wow....oh & wow again!
-
that's amazing Feline!
i'm getting a warpig with that exact cover once i have got a cab  8)

She's looking good Jonathon, thanks for the pics!
It's costing around 2500 but it's got some cool features including the neck profile of my Charvel Model 6 with Stainless Steel 6100 frets. See http://www.felineguitars.com/on_the_bench/index.html under bells and whistles for more info!
:D :D
I'm well pleased with the Schecter too, it sounds so brutal! The Warpig is a fantastic pickup and so is th MQ. It plays really well, I picked that up in a pawn shop in Las Vegas for 70 quid!

Haha!
What a deal :D

Johnny, your new guitar looks the business and Jonathan you are truly an artist (incidentally Jonathan the bass will have to wait until after my trip to USA).

Sadly no Johnny but would love to.No just some TLC for the old Precision as I am doing more and more gigs with this other band as a bassist. I would love a Feline Puma with BKP P90's maybe one day. If one or other of my Grannies were alive, you can be sure one of them would have been sold long ago-hell I'd chuck the pair in ( buy one, get one free as they say).

What pickups are planned for your new axe, Johnny?

I've got a pair of burnt chrome Rebell Yells for it, they sound stunning!
