Title: FENDER TC 90!!!! WHERE IS IT MADE!!!!

Stupid topic i know but its driving me mad!!!!!!!! im looking to get rid off my Mexican made '72 custom telecaster and possibly buy the immensely cool p 90 loaded tc 90!!!

What i cannot find out any where though is where the tc 90 is made! i suspect its mexican but cant confirm that any where!!!

On the topic should i stick with my '72 or ditch it for the tc 90?

I can't deciside. I'm digging the TC90 but the double cutaway puts me off.

Looking at the TC 90, I'd rather go for an Epiphone Wiltshire, or one of the other batwing styled beasties.

A tele with P90s is an OK thought though.

i haven't tried the tc 90 (you got a link?), but I quite liked the 72 custom I tried...

if you've upgraded it, might make more financial sense to stick with it... it's unlikely you'll get back what you put into it. However, thinking with your head and not your heart rarely cures GAS...

yeah that's a beauty as well... I don't get on with semi-hollowbody guitars though so I'd probably give it a miss personally

One thing I would say about the TC90 is that it is loud-or at least seems so after being plugged in on the same settings as my mate's superstrat. It sounded bloody excellent tbh and given that my mate had said to me that a friend of his wanted to sell it and was I interested, I was a little disappointed when my mate bought it instead.Having said that, he is a great bloke and a wonderful player and will make it sound better than I would.

A bit neck heavy too so if you get one, buy a thicker strap.

I'd stick with the Telecaster.  Having said that, the Gibson Faded Doublecut we have is great guitar if you're looking for smokin' P90 tones.
