Well i tried my friends Big D, and it is a gd and versatile pedal. But there was one problem with it. I keep turining the tone knob and it sounded similar. Is this the way Big D behave or is there anything wrong with the pedal my friend owns. Is it just the sweep of the tone knob not wide??
Also i am thinking of getting a Rodenberg 828. How many of you had tried this pedal before. I have not had any chnce of trying one but it has good reviews. Can any of you enlighten me.

i haven't tried the rodenburg, but I really liked the Big D. Can't remember about how well the tone knob worked though... knowing me i thought it sounded good as is, and didn't go near it, lol.

Dont really remember how wide of a sweep the tone knob had on the BigD. I'll try it out tonight and get back to you.
All I know is I liked it on 12 oclock...

9 o'clock is neutral, and the pot works in reverse: left darkens the tone, right brightens it up.

On mine if the knob is at 12oclock. turn it left and it brightens up. turn it right and it darkens
