Have a jtm30 combo and extension cab, at moment surplus as have a podxt and atomic setup
Question is should I tweak it a bit...tubes or mods etc biasing
or sell
-
what's wrong with the Marshall that it should need tweaking?
Marshalls normally come to live with a good tubescreamer like pedal upfront ...

Does that emp have a parallel FX loop with a 'mix' control?
1 of the things that really bought my Marshall JTM60 combo to life was to have a small patch lead in the fx send/return jacks and then using the mix control as an additional gain stage :)

doesn't have mix control...but has the loop on front
-
Send it this way! :D

I found the JTM series to be great at low volumes but don't like being pushed in a live situation. If you're just using it at home for practice/recording they're a decent tube combo.
