http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0430357/
looks like it came out last year. looks shiteE
-
It was indeed out last year.
I wouldn't recommend watching it unless you like to induce that sinking feeling of 'That's 2 hours of my life I'm never going to get back'.
-
Came out last year. Didn't see it.
The very wonderful Paz Lenchantin provided some music to it, which almost makes me wish I'd bothered now...
As far as I can tell it came out amidst a whirlwind of hype, then promptly died on it's arse.
*Rahnooo*

I believe there is one phrase that would suit this movie....oh hang on, the system won't allow me to post it. Over long turgid cr@p
-
I saw this at the cinema and was quite disapointed by it, its absolutely nothing to do with the original Miami Vice which was pretty damn cool back int the day.
If youre after seeing a good film I reccomend Sunshine, its a great cinema experience.

Really.
Really.
Really.
No.
Or - Watch the first 3/4 and then walk out.
Simply the worst ending to any film - ever.
-
That movie was absolute rubbish.... the producer couldnt even be bothered to get half the soundtracks right!
the cars, boats... anything with an engine. SO PAINFUL.
-
I have never seen the TV show( I was always too busy gigging to watch tv when it was out) and I cannot envisage seeing the movie-am I abnormal?

Possibly - but not because you've never seen Miami Vice.
The strangest thing is that the TV show was a piece of trashy, glossy, jokey nonsense, but Michael Mann has revisited his own series and made a movie that's still glossy but dreary, serious and pretentious.
-
Well they did get Frank Zappa to appear as a drug dealer and also Penn (of Penn & Teller) in the series
So they must have got something right somewhere, damned if I can remember what though !
Rob...

True..... but there was also an episode guest starring Phil Collins....
For every silver lining there's a cloud. Or something.
-
noodleplugerine how on earth did Sunshine have the worst ending ever? Perhaps you were watching the wrong type of movie, what would you call a good ending out of interest.

One almost wishes that there could have been a Brandon Lee moment when Hairy Phil was on site
I do beleive that I was looking at the 80s through rose tinted glasses until Philly reminded me of Phil Collins existence

Turned from a tense and dramatic character development piece - Like big brother in Space.
To a terrible Slasher wannabe with no plot or sense - Like Jason X.
Most anti climatic and plain shite ending any film has ever had imo.
-
I have no idea how u can say the ending was anticlimatic, it was immense!
What do you consider a good ending to a film to be then, happily ever after? drive off into the sunset or open ended?
-
Something which isn't totally mindless and shite?
