Title: How much is my BKP loaded Stratocaster worth?

Am wanting to sell my BKP Apache loaded Stratocaster - just curious to know how much people think it's worth including hardware upgrades....

Specs:

2004 USA Stratocaster
Black body and matching black scratchplate / pickup covers
Maple Neck
Callaham Tremolo Block
Set of BKP Apaches
Immaculate condition

I was hoping for around £550 what with the Tremolo block upgrade and BKP's... it's practically mint too being well looked after. Sounds damn good too. Is £550 too much? If not, I'll bang it on ebay later!

I reckon it would go for £550 - start the bidding at that but talk up the mods (like including 10/10 Harmony Central reviews for the Apaches and Callaham block).

Bear in mind that the Apaches don't necessarily add value for a potential buyer - they might want to keep it stock or use EMGs or something.  And if it ever becomes a "vintage" instrument it'll be worth more if it's as original as possible.

If you still have the original parts, I'd put them back on and sell the pickups and upgraded parts separately, you'll get more money that way.

If I was eBaying it I'd probably have a reserve of £450-£500 and hope to get a bit more, but I haven't bought a new Strat for a few years, I've lost track of the prices TBH.

OK cool. Great to hear the feedback. You never know there may be someone browsing on here who's looking for a BKP Apache loaded Strat. Should have it on ebay at somepoint this weekend I hope.

I'm with Phil here.  If you've got the original bits, put them back on and you'll get £400+ for the guitar.  The BKPs are worth around £100 separately then the block on top of that.  As an upgraded guitar you won't get much more than my estimate I don't think.

You might have to request access to Second Out forum, but it should be available to you.

Yopu'd be way better selling the strat in it's original state if you still have all the parts, and the upgrades seperate.

If the buyer on ebay knows about BKP's then I would expect £500-£575 without problems.

I havnt got the original pickups - sold them for a set of Irish tours, and sold them for to finance a set of Apaches! So the guitar will be sold with the upgrades.

with an auction i doubt you would get more then that
there was a mint 2006 usa strat with apaches going for £550 bin last month.
perfect condition.
