not too many positive customer testomonials here recently compared to questions. anyway, i must say i've already been impressed by bkps great customer service - i think we all have. but my last experience was really a shock:

email bkp monday morning regarding recovering some riff raffs
receive friendly reply monday afternoon
posted pickups immediately
tuesday pickups recieved and recovered by bkp
wednesday morning, recovered pickups arrive back on my desk!

this is simply great customer service, thanks again bkp

It almost makes you think they have nothing else to do.

The quickest e-mail reply I ever got from Tim was about an hour. No other company I ever e-mailed has ever responded that quickly.

The service that BKP provides is just as important as the quality of the pickups.

I heartily agree with all of the above !

BKP have amazing service (and patience) which we kind of take for granted, because it started good and stayed that good. For example, How many Company Directors come to the phone and speak to ' the little guy' ?

Nice people, great advice, great products, great support, great work indeed B.K.P !

Yeah, Tim always replies to my questions, even when I feel I'm getting annoying and asking too much  :lol:

The time I ordered a Trilogy I got it within 2 days :D

A big +1 from me. I phone Tim to order my Apaches on a monday afternoon, and they arrived at my house on the tuesday. Luckily, he had the exact set I wanted left over as stock from a guitar show, but it was still excellent service. The few times I've emailed with queries since have always been answered within 12 hours - excellent stuff all-round.

tim must have the patience of a saint too, I can't even begin to imagine how many times he gets asked the exact same question... in fact it wouldn't surprise me if he just had a database of standard replies to questions about the pickups - it'd explain how he replies to his emails so quickly :lol:

Kudos to Tim!!!!

I was very surprised when I phoned BKP and Tim answered the phone. I had spoken to him through PMs about my pick ups. All I said was my name over the phone and Tim new exactly what I was calling for.8)
Sorry about the thick Cajun accent Tim! :lol:

I can't wait to order my next set! ( should be soon )

A few salesman at Guitar Center in New Orleans are waiting for me to take my BKP loaded LP to the store.

We do our best to get orders out as quick as we can, generally within the week that the order is placed.Sometimes things that are out of our control might slow things up, ie a component being out of stock but we do our best to keep on top of it.Things like rewinds, new covers etc are generally done the day they come in so that the p/ups don't get mixed up with any we're making.As for email and phone calls-I try to bang off replies everytime I pass the PC(mail comes in at over 200 a day so I can't let it back up) and I work with a telephone headset on so I can work and talk at the same time. It's pretty full on at times, well all the time actually but it's worth it!

- And I bet the telephone headset has a custom rewind with an aged nickel cover ...   :wink:

Tim's always been very helpful and answered all my questions. Our BK dealer is also very nice - really friendly service, good prices and they will order you whatever you want. I wanted a 2-conductor Nailbomb w/ raw nickel cover and it arrived within a week. 8)

Damn right. Dealing with BK is a pleasure. Absolutely proffesional, on the ball all the time, helpfull, fast, friendly and customer-centered. Brilliant service.
