What do you think about THD Yellow Jackets ?I didn't find any post about it. :? IF it's doing what it says...it could be nice;changing my 6L6's in EL84's and in class A , 70 to 90 % power diminution etc...No need for a Hotplate anymore ?Is there anybody here who uses (or used) them?Is it safe for the amp?What about the sound? etc...Any info would be a + :P

i haven't personally tried them, the guy i know (ok, internet-know) who got them was impressed.

i dunno if it'd get rid of the need for an attenuator though... 1 el84 is still pretty loud!

They're bloody great mate, made my Marshall jmp 50 usable without exceeding the strategic nuclear arms limitation treaty. However, quiet it ain't, just stops the blood running out of your ears, great crunch, great wail and voxy with it!!

No problem,it's more about improving my tone or about versatility since my Mesa is 6L6.By the way,should i put the switch on EL34 with the yellowjackets or stay on 6L6 ?

It shouldn't make any difference, but this is really a question for the maker of the yellow jackets
