Wedding (2 weeks and counting).
Actually to be honest, we've spent the savings on it already. Nopw I've got to save to pay back my folks as they've lent me a grand out of their holiday money (they're off on pushbikes for 4 months - lucky beggers)
Once that's done though, we'll be saving to move to New Zealand. No wonder I haven't been able to buy the £20 bridge that I need to finsih my guitar off :cry:

Nothin really, I'm awaiting a custom built V, which I haven't apid for yet, but I have the money ready, I have an ISA which I stick any spare money in too whenever I can just waiting for thet bargain to come along!

I'm saving for guitar modifications mostly. I want a set of medium high output humbuckers for my SE Singlecut (currently thinking Rebel Yells), as well as a set of decent tuners. Also semi considering a set of Irish Tours for my Strat, but I'm going to wait and see how much better it sounds after a pro setup (with the right gauge strings) and the fitting of a Callaham trem block.
Beyond that, I'd like another Warmoth guitar (even though I don't have the one I ordered yet) while the dollar is still weak. Something to put a set of Holy Divers in would be nice. Oh, and a Marshall JVM410 and Engl 2X12 cab.
But that's looking waaaaay into the future there. Pickups and tuners for the PRS are the next step.

Can't decide whether to get my guitars painted up or not...
I'm thinking about the following...
Gretsch Electomatic Corvette
Washburn WI200 Pro
Les Paul Standard DC
SG Supreme.
But thinkings as far as it goes. I'm trying to save, but I haven't really got any real plans...
-
arg, i have enough trouble keeping GAS under control without threads like this!
:lol:

Lie-Nielsen 5 1/2 Jack plane, pricey at £244 but this should be a tool I can hand down to my grandkids. Hopefully I should have it by summer so I can use it on my Les Paul and doubleneck 6/12 Strat projects.
Aside from that, any spare cash being saved goes towards hardware and pickups, and aside from THAT, my pension fund?
-
matamp...matamp...matamp
-
*takes a big breath*
a set of irish tours
a set of Mules for my tokai that feline is gonna be nice & fit for me with some hovland caps
a set of black dogs for my newly named Black Dog epiphone

an xbox 360 elite when it comes out
Matamp King street head & cab

Putting money aside for Download fest spending money. Saving for Uni, if they ever let me go that is :evil:
I want an SG '61 style. and I blame this entirely on twinfan for having such drool worthy pair!! :wink:

I'm not really saving for anything in particular, but I have bought a load of stuff over the last few months:
Matamp Little Rock (on order)

Gretsch Electromatic Power Jet
HBE Dos Mos
HBE Uno Mos
HBE Power Screamer
HBE UFO (on order)
HBE Big D (on order)

So letting the cash build back up is probably a good thing :lol:
Also, because I now have the HBE stuff, I'm selling my Fulltone Fulldrive II, Fulltone Fat Boost and ZVex Super Duper pedals. just incase anyone's interested 8) :twisted:

Working full time and having total living expenses of £80 per month should make saving quite easy. You'd be amazed, though, how much it's possible to spend on pork scratchings and beer.
Off the top of my head, what I should be saving for is something like:
http://www.carvin.com/products/gis.php?guitarType=BS&serial=101105
Matamp GT1 or GT retro
Madamp A15 kit
Carvin seven string
Carvin CT6
Acoustic of some form
Recording setup including PC
Three month trip to Thailand
A V
An explorer
Another superstrat (Ran?)
A bass amp
A strat and tele
A les paul
Another ravelle
And of course going to uni...

No, I wouldn't. :( Although in my case it was peanuts, cashews and vodka (because cheap vodka is better than cheap whisky and you knock it back in one anyway... :) ) oh, and beer... [Mind you, it was 50p a pint (the joy of subsidised uni bars) I didn't drink till I went to uni...
-
not saving for anything musical at the minute as I've got my setup nailed at the minute...
* '91 Les Paul standard with double creme Mules and Sprague caps
* Epi Explorer with Nailbomb and '59
* '72 Tele Custom
* '76 Marshall Superbass
* pinstripe Marshall 4x12 with G12H-30s
* MI Audio Crunchbox
* 70's Jen Wah
All pennies are going towards a better car - my old Punto is reliable and costs nowt to run, but it's not a great drive. I've had a hankering for a Saab 900 for ages now, don't ask me 'why' but I just love 'em to bits (seem to have more character than most cars)
:twisted:
-

I'll get me coat
-
Tone Monkey - why move to New Zealand when Australia is so close? :wink:
But good luck in your ventures, and if you can stand the Kiwi accent, then good for you :D
-
im saving up for your $%ing ibanez rocket roll II :twisted:
-
im saving up for your #$%!& ibanez rocket roll II :twisted:
hahha.
when you wanna meet me?
-
Pretty much every guitar I see on t'internet :D
Well, the focus at the moment is:
Line 6 Spider II 150W half-stack
Schecter C-7 Hellraiser seven string
And possibly in the near future (which is going to be a year or two's time, probably...damn my lack of money)
A KXK Warrior V
And a Legra custom guitar- Les Paul shape but with a slightly longer scale length, or some other trickery that'll make the very top frets easier to get to. With a green burst finish. Mmm. ^_^
Oh, and if I win the lottery any time soon, first thing on the list of what to do with my lottery winnings will be a couple of Blackmachines- a six and a seven string. ^_^
