Title: Miracle man in Les Paul (terminator) NEW LESS COMPRESSED MIX

well as i promised heres a clip of the miracle man in the agile i couldnt think of anything to record at all until

a mate called me up saying he was watching terminator 2 so i thougth hey lets metal the theme up.

so here goes.

Hahha i love the Terminator theme!

I can't really tell if it is better or not because there's too much wah there :lol:

there isnt on the rhythm parts that are panned far out on either channel/

well im gonna re record this when i get home tonight, Ill actually do the drums properly in DKFH and make sure everything is mixed and Eqd properly

also do you think i should leave the wah out until the last lead part where the double bass comes in?

man.. that could have been done with ibanez pickups and noone would be able to tell the difference   :?


leave the wah out, or make it really subtle

uploaded a diff mix wherei actually EQ'd the tracks and levelled them properly

will re record in a hour or so just want to relax atm just got in from work.

New mix sounds a lot better and i can hear the tone more :D

I still don't like the wah though, you should leave it out and instead layer the lead parts or something to make it sound bigger.

Sounds good though :D

i actually double tracked the lead parts anyway.

once again new mix. no wah on the first lead had to quad track it because it didnt cut through the mix as well without the wah.

First mix is the best one, they all sound very different to me. Take it easy with the mix, it's a bit overcompressed for my liking. Apart from that it's a good interpritation of a classic theme!

yeah i cant really help the compression atm as its due to the cr@ppy £3 pc mic i used to record it with.

pay day shall yield new equipment and better results.

i think i know why the compression thing is bad i noticed the final waveform clips a hell of a lot will sort that

Hopefully my toneport that i bought of Crazy_Joe will be arriving tomorrow so im either going to redo this or record the rhythm sections of my newest thrash song.
