Most of the time, I find 6 too many to cope with :)
-
Never seen the attraction in a 7 string. Ibanez now do 8 strings too.
-
12 string or nothing ;)
-
My next guitar is occasionally going to be a 7 string.
By that I mean I often think about it, even tried to bag an RG7321 once, but the national distributor had run out, so the country was out of stock and I got bored of the idea (again).
Not so interested now (6 strings have quite enough music in them for a lifetime, is my current view), but that looks like a pretty nice guitar!

thats a nice looking guitar ..Is the agile line any good? we don't get em over here in Canada

Funny you posted that.
Been next on my list for a month now.

Don't know what it is but recently, the past couple weeks, I've been checking out the 7 string Ibanez & Loomis model guitars. I've got enough trouble getting 6 strings down but I'll be grabbing a 7 down the road. 8)

with you living in canada id seriously recommend the agile to you as they are top quality guitars for the price
and you wont have to pay atrocious shipping and duty like i have to

I have bookmarked the page and added it to my "to buy" list

What is the shipping cost to get one to England?
-
That is a very, very nice 7 string... and makes me reconsider my definite decision to get a Schecter Hellraiser 7 string somewhat :D Thanks!
-
Just realised it's Arch top aswell, with recessed knobs...
If PRS made a 7 string Superstrat it wouldn't look far from that xD
-
I'd rather get a baritone.
-
What is a baritone? I keep hearing about them, but I have no idea what one is.
-
A baritone is a guitar with a larger scale. 29.25 inches.
It allows you to play in C, B or A tuning without having to use telephone poles for strings.

would it work in D standard?
-
It would work. Just as you could tune a regular guitar to G standard. It would put more tension on the strings.
For D standard I think I would prefer a Fender scaled guitar (25.5 ") with 11's.
