To all the MM users....Can the Miracle Man produce that kind of tightness like the following clip? If it does then I guess I'm all for it!

Yeah it certainly can. Possibly a little bit tighter than that.
-
Wow. MM for me then, as I really like its tone too. Case closed.

Tight like a constipated rabbit.

That's it! MM in an all maple guitar and through the Engl Fireball, I think the sound will be quite crushing!
What do you suggest for the neck?
Also 250K or 500K vol pots? Many people who tried it say that maple is not as bright as the majority believes......

all maple?
hmm i think it will be extremely bright (for my taste, of course)
i'd go with alnico warpig

Tim recommended the MM......His exact words were that ceramics are always a good choice for all maple guitars. He was certain and I have no reason to disagree as I have no experience with maple.
So, I'll do what so many people do and trust him.
So, what would you guys suggest for the neck? For leads in the high registers and cleans?

yeah, i agree, if you want a very tight, BUT bright tone

I like balanced sounds with a good high end clarity. Specifically I like very tight sounds with lows and low-mids along with highs (not so much high mids). But....
Is maple really so bright? I'm really very curious. Have you ever had a maple guitar (I'm interested in 1st hand experience)?
Any opinions from people who use or used a maple guitar.....?
I've talked with people who use the JB or the Demon with maple and worked exceptionally. The MM is less bright than these pups - or am I wrong?
Also by adjusting the amp the right way you can have the sound you want (EQ wise) - this is the amp for, I guess. At least with my TSL I can (I'm not afraid to set the treble knob of the amp to zero or any other adjustment of this kind).
Piece.....All my posts had a good intension.

i know a girl that has an all maple washburn guitar
cheap model (chicago series, i think), but nice guitar (except the hardware)
very bright
don't know if miracle man can be compared to JB and screamin demon cause MM has a lot more output and bass, but probably it has tons of high mids, so i would say it's a really heavy and tight pickup, but it has a bright nature too (as most ceramic pickups)
i'm not saying it's gonna suck
most people love brighter tones, but if you're looking for a low mid tone, i wouldn't go with it, not for an all maple guitar
i'll order a miracle man set this week, but for a mahogany les paul with imbuya top
if it was maple or even alder, i'd probably go with warpig
painkiller will give all the tightness and bass that you're looking for too, but it seems to have a bright nature too

Well maybe a custom-wound pup from Tim is the solution. I think I'll order a MM with different EQ if it's possible to fit a maple guitar.
A custom pickup for a custom guitar. Fair enough......
