Just thought I'd post a couple of pics of my latest arrivals - a set of black covered Warpigs w/ cap head allen bolts. Br00tal!
The bridge has a ceramic magnet and the neck a standard A5.

The powder-coating is a bit rough but whatever. I bought the pickups because of how they sound - the look is just an added bonus.
And here's the guitar they'll be going in...

Hardware will be changed to black too.
Enjoy!

Brutal looking pickups and GORGEOUS Angelus there.
Want a Caparison so much :(

Thanks dude. Caparison are awesome guitars :)
-
Any pictures of them in place yet?

Not yet mate... I'm changing the hardware from gold to black so I'll install them at the same time. Just waiting for a few parts to arrive.
-
I wanna see it asap! :D
-
I finally installed these into the Angelus today. I'll get some pics soon!

Great pickups on a Beautiful guitar!....Glad for you man!....
-
Can't wait to see this!!
I was going to do the same, black warpig/hardware combo, but i was sold on nickel in the end
-
Lookin' badass. I think I'd prefer it with the gold hardware though but to each his own. I can't wait to see them in.
-
That is one sweet looking guitar! As all these guys, I'm waiting for PICS! :)
Congrats on your purchase, too, btw :)

Well, here they are. The long-awaited pics of the Warpigs in the Caparison Angelus.
I can't believe I got these pickups in May and only just installed them last weekend. Shame on me! Caparison guitars sound great as they are - but BKPs just take it to a whole new level.

Proper metal looking! Nice!
Like a gothic series or something
-
That's just plain gorgeous. I really like the shape of that guitar aswell. Somewhere in between a les paul DC and PRS.

It's even closer to the Eggle Berlin

Look superb!

Thanks guys. Spent all day running this through my Peavey 6505 it sounds unbelievable. So tight and aggressive and... sizzling! Also, with the coil split the neck pickup produces some very nice cleans - which I wasn't expecting at all. For leads the neck is really fat and smooth. I haven't tried it through the ENGL yet but I'm sure it sounds just as mean 8)

Congrats, and thanks for the pictures!
That looks awesome!

Hey Hermz, love that guitar man!
So I'm considering getting a set of WPs and I've been mulling over the ceramic vs AV debacle ... are you happy with the AV neck and ceramic bridge? If you would do it over again would you make any changes? Seems like you'd get the best of both worlds with that setup, I was worried going all ceramic would be harsh and less versatile. Feel like your missing anything soloing with the bridge? Just curious on your thoughts since you have both ...

That is niiiiiice. Bit too goff for me though. :P
-
I have no idea what "goff" means. Pssh, poms

So far I couldn't be happier with my choice. You'd be surprised how well the ceramic Warpig can clean up too. Although having coil splitting helps a lot with ultra hot pickups such as these.

i think he means goth...? i think lol
-
Goff = what a lot of people (so it ain't just me) call fake goths. You know, people who just slap a bit of black clothing on and claim to be "goth" when they're not, it's just the clothing/makeup.

Ah, I see. Interesting choice of words for a guitar :?
