Title: 4 conductors and 3-way switch?
Post by: erpece on May 28, 2007, 07:24:24 PM
I have ordered a calibrated set of VHII's. To ensure maximum flexibility I may need in the future, the VHII's have 4 conductors where my Axis has a 3-way switch.

Can someone post a schematic for such a setup? I want to do the obvious and have the coils in series.

Thanks!

Put the red wire to the tag of the pot and the plain and black wire to the back/top whatever you want to call it of the pot and leave the other 2 wires that will be tapped together alone.

I always buy 4 conductor for my 3 way switch or any series installation because if i want/needed to i could coil split or send it into a different guitar that needs the 4 conductor.
I find it easier to install aswel as you don't have to peel back all the braided cr@p, you can just solder in straight away.
