I am selling the Ibanez due to me growing out of the whammy bar and it being too much of a pain to use. It is on ebay now so i need help quickly.
Not necessarily to buy another guitar, i might just stick with my Explorer.
Anyways i took out the holy divers then put the ibanez ones back in but didn't want to put strings on in case i got the wiring wrong, and i think i have even though i have followed the wiring diagram perfectly.
I tapped the pickups with a screw driver and when it is switched to neck the bridge makes a noise and the neck doesn't etc and im pretty sure its supposed to be the other way around.
I followed the 1996 RG505 diagram here and i can't see what i have done wrong, though i don't see why one of the enck wires on that diagram goes to a tag where it is switched to engage the bridge pickup so i thought maybe swap that with another wire of the birdge pickups which is at the tag where the neck pickup is engaged if you get what im saying!

All help is appreciated!

Don't know, Joe, but there's another Ibanez wiring diagram in this thread (http://www.bareknucklepickups.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8172) which might be a bit easier to follow.

Cheers, myn is not the same as that so i'm guessing it will work if i do it like that one.

Just wired it up like that diagram and did the screwdriver test and it seems as if everything is working, though i won't properly know till the strings go on, but thanks for that Philly Q!!

Glad it worked. So what'll you do with the HDs?

I like them a lot so i'll probably keep them for a future guitar, though they don't go with a lot of the guitars that i look at/buy just being black open coiled so i might sell them and try something different.
