There both ceramic so I was curious is one more trebly then the other? Fatter?
-
Why not buy both, compare them for us and let us know?
-
The CS is warmer, fatter, clearer and more musical.

It also has greater harmonic resolution and is more organic sounding.

Ok going to make a dive for them.
1 doiwn 1 more to go

The Custom sounded very 'brittle' to my ears (clean or distorted).
The CS is fuller, warmer, and a hell of a lot better sounding (to my ears atleast)

Go for it fella, you will love them.
You do realise that if you have any other guitars they will have to have BKP's in too or you wont play them any more!!

As a note of interest, although they look similar spec on paper the CS is wound with different wire and asymmetrically. The magnet is different too so the overall tone is much fatter, sweeter in the high end and overall a touch more power.

It's threads like this that make me very wary of the CS bridge.
I have a CS neck - love it, one of the finest neck pickups in existence - but the very thought that the CS bridge might bear even a passing resemblence to the vile abortion that is the Duncan Custom is enough to put me off it for life.
Please, somebody say it ain't so. I really want to want a CS bridge (not that I've many guitars left to put one in...). The Duncan Custom is truly horrible :(

the best stock duncan IMHO
and works nice with an alnico 8 magnet

I like the Duncan Custom (SH-5) as well
I have it 3 guitars right now (but one is coming out for a Nailbomb, my 7 string)
In the right guitar they work very well, nice and punchy.
