Title: Making My Own Bias Probe.. Need Tube Base

Where can I get an octal tube base? I can get the socket but I want the base I could smash a tube open and unsolder the tube components off the tube but theres glass to deal with and im not up for that.. so any ideas?

It's dangerous stuff, what about playing safe and still affordable with this for example
