We've had heavy rain since Wednesday afternoon. The small river near my work car park is nearly flooding. I hope it rains a bit more so we get flood warning and we can go home
I heard Sheffield is badly flooded with 6 FEET of water in some places apparently (if the radio is to be believed).
-
ill get back to you about sheffield after i speak to the ex lol. and over here in bradford where i work all the drains are over flowing and the rain is like 2" up the side of the kerb
-
Apparently theres been flooding in Belfast the last couple of days (I say apparently because I'm in London ATM)
London, it's threatening to rain (there was some the last couple of days.
-
Pissed it down yesterday all afternoon and all evening, today its really sunny and warm.
-
The forecasts have been really bad all week, but in London it's barely touched us. It's just been warm and muggy with a lot of cloud but hardly any showers.
I'd be happy to see some rain, I hate this kind of weather. SE England is just too warm for me, I must have Eskimo blood.
-
I was happy to see the rain . . . till i woke up this morning with a large brown patch on my newly decorated bedroom ceiling. looks like i now have to fork out for the flashing and pointing to be re done on my chimney.
the rain has stopped at the moment, but has been pretty heavy here
-

It's sunny here and dead dry. The missus didn't enjoy the drive between Startford and Leicester yesterday and my 2.5 mile drive home was a bit hairy.
The floor here's dry enough for me to lay down and pull the exhaust off my motor.
-
Sunny and 27 degrees here 8)

it's been raining non-stop for about the last 4 days, including torrential rain on Tuesday, I believe.

Hoping it doesn't rain in the next 40 minutes so I get a group together to go to the pub after work.
Here's where we go and they've got enough water

Just some showers here.
In the east and south of Holland it's terrible, though.
-
Was really shitety here earlier. Overall the weather this week has been cr@p. Really depressing. The weather at the weekend in Bournemouth was perfect. Hot, Sunny, Clear Skies and cooler evenings. Felt like I was abroad
-
Well it rained this afternoon.. went out for a bit tonight and was driving to my mates house, didnt realise the t-junction was as close as it was (no signs and it was dark), so of course because it was wet I had to slow down quickly, and managed to slide into the verge opposite   Radiator is buggered I think, and the bumper is all cracked on one corner. Hopefully its just a radiator hose or something, but something was leaking and the overheating light kept flashing on the way home..

It's been glorious up here in Scotland, but my friends in Liverpool have told me that their fish have swum out of their garden pond and can now be seen swimming about on their patio outside the back door :)
-
It was fine in Sussex yesterday though I deal with Insurance claims and had many floods yesterday (plus a nasty thumb severing incident).

plus a nasty thumb severing incident
Poor guy, it's over with those Hendrix over the fretboard bend thumb chops for the guy then ...
Say Beatle, could we put an insurance on our fingers? How much would that cost and how much would it bring? (fraud can be excluded as noone in here would sacrifice a finger voluntarily)
-
Well I deal with liability type stuff-where the "victim" is suing his employer "my client" . You take into account age, occupation and extent of injury and then try to work out a settlement-difficult to say at the moment as he has undergone surgery and as we are the "opponents" we have not a lot to go on yet. Very sad for the man-I don't know much about him yet. If someone was thinking about "losing" a finger for the insurance money ( and people do) it is a good idea to have some sort of personal accident insurance with good rates of benefits and you make it look convincingly like an accident. Personally I would prefer to work my ar*e off for money but thats just me.

38th,
I know a guy tried that kind off guff, sawed off four fingers.
Unfortunately for him, and hilariously for everyone else who's ever met him (he's a bit of a dick), he was caught on the in factory CCTV making a couple of dry runs at it. He was laughed out of court.
-
What rain?
Landed in Sweden on Friday night :p
-
it was real bad here a few days ago, thunder and lightning etc etc. Not been any rain since.
-
here in Newcastle it rained non-stop from Monday evening till Saturday afternoon. no real flooding, it was just constant.
