Title: Guitar shops in Dublin? Visiting next week...
Post by: Twinfan on June 18, 2007, 11:59:45 AM
I'm off to see Aerosmith in Dublin next week and will be having a couple of days in the city.  Where do I need to go to check out guitars and amps while I'm there?

Cheers for any pointers  :D

musicmaker and musician inc are the two main ones, a few minutes off grafton street (south of the river). (they have websites, you could google them i guess, i don't know them offhand).

there are a load of other ones, i guess, and i'm not a native, so there are probably some i've missed. EDIT: those two are probably the only two worth going out of your way to, and to be honest since you're from england you probably won't be super-impressed by those either. You won't be impressed by irish prices either...  :o

i normally just check out the yellow pages when i want to find guitar shops(or golden pages as i think they're called down south)... you can access that online.

no problem, hope it helped a bit. As i said there are probably more, but the others i've been to probably aren't worth the bother of walking to, to be honest... especially if you're only there for a day or two and want to see the city too.

unless there are some I've missed that i haven't been to.
