Title: Sinner - does it have more mids than a Trilogy?

I've been experimenting with different pickups in the bridge position of my strat, and so far I've decided that the Trilogy was too scooped and loose sounding under gain - its a neck model, does this having anything to do with it? Anyway, the description for the Trilogy says subtle mids, so I guess the one I have isnt too different..

I've got a Dimarzio Chopper in there at the minute which isnt bad (more mids than the trill), but when switching from the Trilogy (back in the neck position, and disconnected from the tone so its a bit more trebly), it sounds a bit "dry" and boring for lack of a better description.

Basically, is the Sinner much middier than a Trilogy, so it sounds fuller/less hollow and loose, and does anyone have any clips of it doing 70s-80s rock/metal stuff (if not, is it good for that?)?

My strat wont fit a humbucker properly :( I tried putting my rebel yell in yesterday and it sort of fits, but the edge of the screw coil rubs on the side of the body a bit, meaning it doesnt sit flat in the pickguard, which looks cr@p and annoys me a lot.

take a file and make it fit :D

I think there are some clips in the players section. They were posted a long time ago.

I would think they've got more mids with that insane amount of winds.
