Anyone else go?
They were INCREDIBLE.
Basically a greatest hits set, the atmosphere, musicianship and showmanship was second to none. I expect the tone (with BKPs of course) was superb by the amp, but the sound left a little to be desired.
I managed to get my timing wrong, so I missed Rodrigo Y Gabriela but managed to see the dirty pretty things  The streets failing to do a freddie mercury was pretty much the highlight of the support bands I saw. Could have been worse though, sunday got My Chemical Romance.
The fact I had seated tickets did little to curtail my air guitar and the result is an immensely sore neck and shoulders, and some grumpy sods behind me who wouldn't stand up and left after the first encore. Did make friends with a drunk man though, who told me him and his mates couldnt see Muse so they were just watching me go crazy on the air-kit.
Only real grump is that we were catching the bus home from Hillingdon, so the busses were all full with people who had got on at Victoria: didn't get on till 20 to 2 :x
Still, a superb night all in all, and definitely worth the £50

I didn't go ... but I did see a picture of Matt B playing at the gig in one of the freebie papers on the Tube tonight - and I'm fairly sure his guitar was loaded with a pair 'o mighty Warpigs

most the pickups are custom wound nailbombs & mississippi queens. his guitars with 2 MQs, the bridge is overwound & the neck underwound. mansons now sell this as a BKP custom set :)

He does have some very tasty guitars! Very unique player too.
I saw them at Earls Court about 4 years ago and they did a cracking show.

I recently met an old friend who was right at the front - and she took great delight in showing off some amazing pics she had taken, looked like matt was about 10 foot away.
and btw, Black holes and revelations is far and away the best album of the last 5 years

If Muse were as good as everyone says they are, they'd be amazing but they're not. They used to be cool but now they've started to believe their own bullshitee and think their farts don't stink.
Matt has such a Jesus complex.

I think They've improved- they've evolved from radiohead wannabes into something more singular.
Personally I want lead singers with a jesus complex, but I don't think Matt has one. His music is certainly OTT, but in interviews he's come across to me as quite modest- certainly compared to Borrell, Gallagher, Kasabians singer and the others.

At Reading 2006 (I think) when Muse headlined, a mate of mine is really good mates with Flogging Molly and so was able to get backstage passes for the main stage.
She and a friend were stood at the side of the stage when Muse came out... she got her camera out and security said that if she took one single photo of Matt they were under orders to confiscate the camera. She laughed and thought they were joking and the guys apologised and insisted it was Matt's demand that nobody take photos of him.
Utter ####!!.

He probably had a spot on his hooter.
If you want disappearing up their own arse then no one can top Ritchie Blackmore!

Maybe he's just fed up with being photographed? I mean yeah ok, when you are on stage you are putting on a show, you are there to be seen, but when you get to a point where you can't go anywhere without someone taking your picture maybe it gets a bit tedious. I heard he's moved to some remote village in italy to avoid being recognised all the time.
It also might be to do with exclusivity. If a photographer has the rights to take pictures at a show, and then a load of other pictures get around for free, his (or her) portfolio is devalued. The band could then be sued if they haven't taken precautions to prevent other photo's being taken.
Or he could be a ****. I still like their music :)
Edit: Saw them on the Sunday, bloody great!

No one takes him seriously though. Some of Blackmore's interviews are ridiculous!
