Well its been a while since i've posted anything in here and i needed something to keep my mind off current family issues so i thought why not record some black metal.
Let me know what you think.
I didn't bother with the whole song as without vocals its VERY repetitive.
in this clip i played every riff except one.

Thats pretty damn close to Satyricon's tone - I love that album and they were great live too.
The Rite Of War Cross is my fave off that album and pretty much responsible for my 5150 purchase.
Speaking of amps, what amp did you use?

hmm i didnt even try to get the tone its the one i normally use....
all that i used for this was the agile al2500 with mm in bridge and the line6 toneport ux1.
Ive pretty much decided on getting a 5150II when i have the spare cash
-
well it's pretty damn close whatever you used.
get a 5150, they're awesome - my mate who 'was' a lifelong JCM800 user has just bought a 5150II and is now talking of selling his prized 800.

on the clip i used the soldano solo 100 head with the tubescreamer.
Nice and simple :D
and yeah i love 5150s

That sounded great, probably my favourite song off the album too
