Ok, so i finally got my warpigs in and i love em, they are kicking major ass and i have had about 10 people ask me for the name of the company. anyways, its about 5:00 AM where i live, and im an insomniac. roomate is out so i decided to record a clip of my pigs. however, i am tired as $%, so its a bit (a lot) sloppy, but i think it sounds really good.

Holy cr@p, Gibson Flying V - Warpigs - B-52!!!
Complete mayhem, awesome metal tone
-
thanx. :D
im realy liking my rig. as soon as i get my check, im gonna pick up a BBE Sonic Maximizer, hopefully that will make the tone a bit clearer and tighten up the bass a bit more. also should add some more punch. somewhere down the line i may switch to some Vintage 30s, but honestly i dont thinkt he B-52 speakers sound too bad, so its not my top priority.
-
nice tone and playing - Warpigs rule!!! bet your neighbours love you playing metal guitar at 5am
-
well thats what crazy gary gets for slamming into my house the other night, drunk, and thought it was his.
-
$% yeah, another b-52! I have a AT212. Rawr. Nice clip BTW.

I just traded my B-52 AT 212 in towards my JSX head.
You're right the B-52 will sound much better thru V30's (mine did)
I also used a BBE sonic stomp in the loop of mine and it worked really well.
the other thing that really warms these B-52 things up is try running a clean boost in front of the low input jack. Sounds less "fizzy" that way.
I ran mine that way (on gain 2) and I found it to sound much smoother.
I had hi gain JJ's in mine as well, but I had tung Sols in V1,V2, gave it a little "kick" mixed with the JJ's.
Sounds cool :D

hey, wassup kamanick? yeah, im begining to think that no matter what i do this amp just isnt going to cut it for me. i may look into a JSX. is the matching cab the best, cause if so, id just as soon ditch the vintage 30 idea and start saving.

Hey how 's it going?
My nailbomb came in the mail today so I will have the set of BKs in my 7 soon now :D
I like the JSX best with V30's but the Matching JSX cab is also pretty cool.
It's got a direct line out of the cab for recording.
My buddy just bought one and used that line out and it sounds really good.
try it with both if you can before you buy anything.
I just retubed my JSX with 6L6's today and it sounds great.
It's kind of cool I like it with both types of tubes the El34s give it more of a Marshall-y vibe and the 6l6's give it more of a dual Recto vibe.
