Title: Neck Trilogy - comfortably numb first solo
Post by: _tom_ on June 26, 2007, 01:02:50 AM
Recorded this quickly earlier, quite like the tone, but it sounds a bit out of tune - dunno why, the Comfortably Numb backing I have never sounds right when I play along with it. Anyway, the setup was strat - keeley rat - gh50l. I apologise for the overuse of my trem in the jamming bit at the end  Just noticed theres a bit of digital clipping as well, but for the most part its ok I think..

Cheers dave. Did another track using the trilogy earlier, on a HC jam - http://www.netmusicians.org/files/86-gilmorejam.mp3

Starts off without the rat on, then I switch it on and over-use my wah  The trilogy is actually going though, I've ordered some BG Pickups Vintage 60s strat pickups, taking advantage of the good exchange rate - £60 shipped! Hopefully they'll do the vintage hendrix/srv thing better than a trilogy!

That sounds really good - much closer to sounding like DG than I've ever managed!
