I don't need your "OMGZ u emo fag" comments, losers.

Seriously these guys have AWESOME tone (makes me crave an old JMP), and pretty wicked songs that rock hard.
As a starter check out their album "Loses Control", or if you can't even be bothered with that they have a myspace http://www.myspace.com/heymercedes - check "quality revenge at last"

I don't expect them to appeal to many of yu guys, as ur mostly all metalheads and i'm just about the only guy into modern punk rock on this forum...

Also their songs are super-fun to play; not too hard but not too easy with some interesting chord voicings every now and then with key changes... Just something you can bounce around your room to, and feel like you're improving.

Hopeless attempt to convert you all OVER...

Nice tone actually, dont like the songs that much. Prefer Indian Summer.

THATS modern punk rock.. and great tone as well. both guitarists use Orange ADs i think**

Gallows guitarists both use Laney VH100Rs as well... good taste.

nah im kidding. im just too obsessed with that genre at the moment... someone could ask me to recommend a classical album to them and id probably work those two bands into my answer some how.

I thought modern punk would be stuff like Towers of London.
You probably hate them but i got their album and i found it pretty darn good,  more for the music than the vocals, but after you have listened to a whole album Donny's vocals get bearable.
It would be better if Donny Tourette's voice was a little less annoying but oh well :lol:

i dont want a genre debate, but since yu mentioned them they i don't think they have a very modern sound; they sound like some 70s/80s throwback.
