Ok well my band covered this about a month ago and it was great fun so here's a clip of me playing the solo over a backing track I found on the tinterweb!

i know i mixed it using a pair of bose headphones which are a bit bass heavy! and the guitar doesn't exactly cut through on them aswell as desktop speakers etc.. but who cares if u hear more guitar? :P thats how we all want it really ;)

as you say, i'd rather have it too loud in the mix than not loud enough, lol. especially when it's a clip to showcase the pickup...  :twisted:

my fianceés younger brother showed me it on www.google.com,
just type in "get to the choppa" on image search.. it comes up first thing.

Muso it's a Splawn Competition and an Ibanez SA1260 w/Nailbomb and DiMarzio Crusier in the neck.. no middle pickup.

Sounds great to me, forget too loud in the mix - it pops from the backing track like it's supposed to be.

Exactly, often these clips can be too quiet/too well mixed.
