so are you looking for suggestions for less bright pickups or a way to tone down the nailbombs that you have.

My suggestion. . .

. . .  your SG has a tone control for each pickup - USE THEM!!!

Seriously though, thats what the tone is for - if that doesnt do it for you look at changing the value of the capacitors to alter the tone controls effect.

I have had good luck with 0.47 orange drop caps on 300k pots for toning down overly bright guitars but the best bet is to buy a few and try a few

I thought the question was about whether Nailbpmbs would be to bright for an SG, abd I don't think they would.

and, as Wez said, if they are too bright, you can always adjust the tone on the guitar

Never owned a Nailbomb, but from what I've read I'd be very surprised if they're too bright in an SG.

Well Bro mattleesc you from Singapore right. Well I found out that for SG it is recommended to get a very high output pickups or very low. An in-betweener tends to mud out. As for me i got a Mule for my SG with alnico V but you want more output so i would suggest like warpig or any ceramics pups. That is just by theory as in practical you can nvr be sure. But i think there is a few Forum member that has Nailbomb in SG so let them tell you more 8)
