Hi all.....newbie here so please be gentle for the time being
I am looking to add to my effects set up and am debating over the Electro Harmonix English Muffin and/or the RAT Turbo distortion. I've read super reviews to both these beasts and debating which one to go for.
Looking to emulate a sound similar to The Cult/ACDC/Thunder......hard-bluesy-rock feel, sustain/drive/wailing etc
I have a Gibson Lesp Paul Gold Top through a Marshall VS100 and i seriously want for "that" valve pre-amp sound.....both pedals seem to offer so much....I'm tempted by the Muffin to be honest but would like some better opinions!! :D
Any ideas on where my hard-earned money is best suited.
Appreciated
Cheers

Hiya Gazz,
I do not yet own one, but there seems to be a lot of love on the forums I visit for the Digitech 'Bad Monkey'.
Our very own forum member James Healey bought one recently, and he reported that "It slays".
The most affordable option too.
Look on the website 'Telecaster discussion page' ( stomp box section ) - for a thread called "Bad Monkey appreciation thread".
Regards,
F.F.
