When I bought my Bogner cube I did'nt have my zvex nano (found cube in Dallas store on whim) so played a Dr. Z through it to test voicing somewhat (with an ex Warren Haynes Les Paul no less, ooh! lol). I loved the tone from that amp, was just so lush and full and crunchy (well setting I used). Anyway, thumbs up from me, depending on type of music you play/sound in your head you are going for.

I agree. There's a Dr Z in my rehearsal studio. It's a fine amp when properly beaten into submission. PDT_008

What a splendid carpet you have there my good man...oh and the amps quiite nice too.
-
are they voiced as classic amps (JTM45 etc) or there own sound?
-
must say...first time my carpet has received such a rave review..!
I traded my Marsh 74 MK II head and 4x12 cab for it-it pulls off the classic early 70's marsh sound as well as Fender cleans..sort of Vox-y as well...pure class A at 38 watts-Dr Z has stated he wanted to capture the efficiency of triode while capturing the punch/power of pentode-I can tell it will take drive pedals nicely-love the cleans..very crunchy,as stated before

Nice looking(colorful too)amp Dr Zhaman...snake and everything. Man...you must be into some kind of Voodu music. Cheers!

Yeah I have a Prescription Rx head - 4 xEL84 for 45 watts. Very nice tones - piano like cleans. Extremely low noise and no harshness to it at all. It ain't VOX, Fender or Marshall but occupies some kind of space in between. Not chimey like an AC30 and not the level of harmonics but beautifulyl voiced. Highly recommended.
cheers
