I may, probably will be selling mine.
Go financial difficulties.
It's the standard black one, maple fretboard etc just like in my userpic, really good condition, tone zone in the neck, super distortion in the bridge, nothing in the middle to increase sustain (and coil tapped 2 & 4'th positions, 3 = off switch).
It's a shame it's the guitar i've lusted for since i was a teenager, oh well!
Any ideas?

a guy i know , just bought a decent condition one for $190 CAD

How old is it? Does it have the AANJ or the strat type neck joint?
You're looking at £250ish I reckon, a bit more if it was standard with a centre single coil.
-
I'd say about £250 as twinfan suggested. How much do you think it's worth?
-
I beleive it's from the last production run and is about 7 years old, any way of telling from the serial number?
It has the AANJ, didnt know they ever came with a strat type! hmm.
Well i've just been offered 350 for it... which is slightly more than i expected.
250-300 sounds about right, it was bought in a shop for 450ish and hasnt much wear on it at all, definately the least wear i've seen on an rg550 so far.
Wish i didnt have to sell it, i've been told by many people they're increasing slowly in value... damnit.

£350 sounds pretty good to me - I reckon I've lost at least £100 each on nearly all the guitars I've sold over the years. Broke even a couple of times, but only because I bought them cheap in the first place.
Mind you, superstrats seem to be getting very popular again now - as you say, shame you can't hold onto it for a while.

+1. 350's a good price. Ebay is a good indicator of how much things could be worth if you've not got an idea.
Bring on the superstrats!! we need 80's metal back!

The first two digits of the serial number will give you the year:
F01xxxxx = 2001
£350 is a very good price for you. I doubt you'd get that on the 'Bay.
-
That'd make it a 2000 model :) cool.

AANJ then, and a good price for a black one. I'd take the money :)
