just found some bobbin toppers that are a bit better than the usual stickers that normally get suggested!!
thought i would post the link because a few people here have asked about it before!!

I saw those before but I assumed they were the same as on the Universal Jems website, I take it these are better quality?
-
well they are coming from a pickguard maker who seems to be trying to find a way to use up left over material - i guess they are cut from thicker plastic wheras the the universal jems ones dont look like much more than badly coloured stickers
-
how exactly would these work? and i wonder if i can request a color? i was thinking about getting some white ones to match with my white BK pickup. do they look like you just threw something on top, or do they actually look like the pickups are supposed to be that color?
-
I think there very thin strips of plastic with a sticky bottom to stick ontop of original (black) tops.
They dont look like stickers so thats the idea im going with.
-
i reckon they will always look like something stuck on top rather than part of the pickup - but the sheer selction this company should be able to offer had me intrigued. quite tempted by some purple mirror ones!!
-
will they come off?

They look great, but bear in mind there may still be problems matching string spacing - if they're made to fit DiMarzios, their "F-spaced" is 51mm but BKP is 53mm.
I guess they may be able to custom-make the bobbin toppers, since they do custom pickguards.
