Newcastle has the best pubs (and some tasty guitar shops).

I'd be up for Leeds or similar distance, although obviously Newcastle suits me just fine. :D

What sort of pub experience do people enjoy? Rock bars? Classy joints with c--ktail menus? Folkie pubs with a row of real ales on draught? A nasty railway arch place with sawdust on the floor? God forbid, but a Wetherspoons?

i love my pubs to have a pool tableS and also a jukebox that downloads songs if it doesnt have it :P

Leeds does for me.

Folky with rows of real ale are my prefered joint, but will go where the people and the beer are.

I live about 5mins from Junction 28 of the M1 and am just outside Nottingham, so I'm definitely upfor a meet up somewhere central :)

We got a SDF 1 to work with Seymour and Evan from California and then people from everywhere meeting up in Birmingham. So I don't see why this wouldn't work!  :twisted:
