Hi I've just bought a calibrated miracle man set off ebay to put into my EC-1000 and get rid of those nasty EMG's  . Ive also ordered two 500k cts pots for the volume, a 0.22 orange drop cap and a 500k push-pull audio-taper pot for the tone and a new jack and wire. I think that's everything I need (I've already got a decent soldering iron and solder).
However I haven't rewired and entire guitar before so i was wondering if someone could help me out with a wiring diagram for the following. 3-way toggle, 2 x volume, 1x tone (with push-pull coil-split).
also would I be able to keep the wiring that goes to the toggle switch(from the EMG's) or should I rewire that new wire? any help would be much appreciated. Thanks Kieran

Try these guys.

more specifically this one:
http://www.guitarelectronics.com/product/WDUHH3T1101
Then when you have done that run the two wires from the pickup for the coil tap (white and green) to one of the middle lugs on the push/pull pot, if coil tapping both pickups then do the same the other side of the switch. then attach a wire from the two lugs closest to the body of the pot and wire the other end to your ground connection.
You can keep the wiring from the 3way switch if you want.

Cheers Guys, Ill let you know how it turns out (hopefully with some pics :D )

Ive managed to get a wiring diagram of exactly what i need off the Seymour Duncan website, the colour codes are different though could someone just tell me which BKP colour matches which seymour duncan colour code? Cheers Kieran

hot = black on a SD, red on a BKP(slug coil)
end of coil one = white on SD, green on BKP (slug coil)
start of coil two = red on SD, white on BKP (screw coil)
ground = green on a SD, black on a BKP(screw coil)

Hi Ive finally got round to putting the pickups in using this wiring diagram : http://www.seymourduncan.com/support/wiring-diagrams/schematics.php?schematic=2h_2v_1t_3w_pp
However when the toggle switch is in the middle poisition the pickups sound very bright and thin wether the push-pull is in or out. When the toggle switch is neck or bridge only position the pickups sound how they should. any ideas what might be wrong with my wiring. I have triple checked it and it is as the diagram (colour codes i took as what wez told me).
Thanks for any help Kieran

try swapping the red and black wires on one of the pickups, it sounds like its out of phase so one pickup will need wiring the opposite way

ok i swapped the wires over finally!!! and the middle position works fine. now its seems my neck volume pot wont go all the way down there is a volume reduction but only as if youve normally turned it a 3rd or 1/2 of the way down. any ideas? im presuming theres something wrong with the pot or could i have wired it wrong?
