These are the rest of my Gibsons (well one is an Epiphone made by Gibson, and one wants to be a Gibson!).
From Left
1963 Firebird III - all original (other than replaced tuners) - has had headstock repair. Great sounding and playing guitar
Richwood Explorer - everything but the wood replaced! Warpig & MQ pickups, sounds massive
1965 ES 335 - renecked a long time ago and turned into a dot neck! Unpotted AII Stormy Mondays. Total Crossroads mojo (alright it isn't cherry!!).
1965 SG Junior - resprayed whiite. The lightest solid body guitar I own. Having said that, the sound is not at all lightweight. All the P-90 growl is there.
Epiphone 1964 Double Olympic. All original. The Melody Maker single coils have a sound of their own. The stud and magnet construction gives a totally different sound to the magnet through that Fender use.

Nice 8)
That SG Junior is right up my street...

That is super cool. I love those Epi models like the Olympic, Crestwood and Wilshire - if I was ever going to collect vintage guitars, it would be those and things like Juniors and Melody Makers.

Gorgeous!
Love the explorer and firebird.

No - just 30 years of collecting guitars!

I must say..you have a great eye...and very good taste....not to mention a small fortune there (lol)....(or **possibly a very LARGE one depending on who's tallying)
**on second thought it's a large one, I've had some of the guitars like I've seen in your collection, I've watched the prices go from a couple hundred US dollars in the early 70's to the thousands now..still going up it seems. You have a considerable investment there.

That firebird is awesome. I've got an Ibanez lawsuit firebird, but it came without the banjo tuners or any of the other hardware. If only I could get the money together to get all the bits on it...............may take a while :(

Not really as much money as they are worth. Buying them a long time ago meant the prices were much lower. Even 2-3 years ago you could still get some deals, now the prices are getting crazy.

note my edited post (lol) I never paid much over 225 or 300 US dollars for any Gibson I ever bought, and I've had my share, I could never afford the same ones now though, I could kick myself for letting my 63' SG with deluxe Gibson vibrola go about 28 years ago. :(
It was identical to the 64' pictured on this page> http://www.provide.net/~cfh/gibson5.html

I can't express my love for the Firebird enough :o

Explorer for me, that guitar is one of the many reasons why I chose the WP / MQ combo for my Warmoth build.
