I'm almost embarrased to post this...
Does it matter which way the Warpig is orientated in the humbucker ring? i.e. can it be installed upside down?
(fetches his coat...)
Thanks, Ted.

Depends on what you want it to sound like.
-
Like a normal Warpig.
-
it shouldn't make any difference, unless you mean upside down as in the polepieces facing down into the guitar
-
I know Tim "offsets" the windings on some models so the two coils "hear" different frequencies. In that case it would make a small difference which way up the pickup is.
However, I don't know if the Warpig is wound symmetrically or with an offset.

I'll give the big man a call.

The BKP logo on the back should be right side up, meaning if your guitar was transparent and you looked through the back you should be able to read the BKP logo. It should not be upside down.
thanks

The cable exiting the pickup should be closest to the top E at the bridge.
I think at the neck it should be closest to the low E instead...

Tim confirmed the MQ orientation did not matter.
However the Warpig lead had to be closest to the high E.

Told ya ;)
