I'm getting all my buddies addicted to Bare Knuckle!
Ever since I had my Warlock "Nailbombed" I've been showing off my amazing tone to the guitarists in my band, one of which ran out a week later and got one fitted to his SG, and the other guy is saving up.
Alas, they say a drug pusher should never get hooked on his own product, but I've just ordered another calibrated gold covered set for my mockingbird! I wanted it to be something special when the pup's came, so I stripped it of it's black hardware and paint, and am now in the process of painting it a deep purple colour and have a full set of gold hardware to go with my new pups.
I've already started saving for a set of ages nickel 'Bombs for my other Warlock and am considering a set for my Jackson 7 String too....
I'm beyond hooked! :lol:

Aye will do! I've not got any proper painting / finishing equipment, so it's going to look really amateur. I'm using some thinned laquer and a paintbrush, hehe. When the last coat of clear laquer is done, I'm hoping any imperfections in the paintwork will be sorted as I'm going to get some auto wax and put a coat or two of that on and buff it up. It's all really cheap hardware, the bridge, pickup rings, knobs / switch etc cost me about £35 altogether and the tuners cost about £30 for the set. It's only a Bronze series so I didn't want to go overboard on the hardware prices.
But I'll be actually making my own guitar when I have all the materials, so I'll spend a bit more on the hardware for that one and I just went out and bought an Airbrush which I'll use to finish that one. The axe I'm doing now is just a test run to see if I have the balls to actually do stuff like this, hehe. So far it's going ok though, will def post pics. :D

All of my guitar playing friends are pretty much BKP converts, apart from a few who stick by Dimarzio and Duncan.. but they've never tried a BKP.. one day they will.
