Title: Wiring to jack
Post by: Ted on September 12, 2007, 09:35:35 AM
Guys in the attached pic...

Does the white wire from Middle Position on Switch to the Jack socket need to be shielded and if yes, what the hell do I ground it on?

Thanks, Ted  :D

No, that's the "hot" output wire, it doesn't need to be shielded.

But if the cavity itself is shielded you're covered anyway.

Cavity is shielded with 3 coats of conductive sheilding paint. Belt 'n braces...

Cheers Philly.
