Hello all!
A B.K. newbie needs some help!!
Some time ago I bought a guitar with Bare Knuckle Pickups in them. The seller stated them as 2 Mules Humbucker.
Well, today I pulled the pickups out and there is no model-type on the Pickups?!? Then I measured them with my multimeter:
The bridge Pup - says: 8.65 kOhm (there is a red dot-sticker on the back!)
the Neck Pup - says: 7.26 kOhm
??? Are this really Mules???
From the resistance of the neck-pup it could be a Stormy Monday?
Any tips how I could find out what pups this really are? - I can also post pics if necessary.
Thanks a lot.
bye

Welcome!
Those DC resistance figures sound about right, I think - the neck pup in a calibrated set is wound less hot because the neck position is naturally louder.
I think they probably are Mules, don't know how you could confirm for certain though.

If the seller said Mules, why shouldn't it be right? What kind of reason would he have to say Mules when it's a pair of Stormys?

IMO they're mules.
The specs listed on the product page for for Bridge pickups only.

Thanks for your replies!
Well, I was just confused because of the neck pup with the 7.26 kOhm....
On the BK - Homepage the Mule humbucker is only listed with 8.40 kOhm and the Stormy Monday with 7.4 kOhm! So I thought it must be a Stormy M.
But I think you guys are right - I've seen some calibrated sets on ebay and the neck pickup often has a 7. ..... kOhm value.
So - thanks a lot

The Mules @ DC res is DC8.45K for the bridge and DC7.3K for the neck so allowing for temperature variance you're about bang on with what you have got as a Mule calibrated set.
