so what set of pickups would be best for me?
I would like a set of 2 humbuckers to put in my Ibanez IC400 or future dean ml. I am using a peavy 6505+ and a marshall 1960b cab
For the bridge pickup i want a thick crunchy sound. It should be able to handle high gain easy and not get muddy but also be able to do lower gain stuff.
For the neck pickup i want a nice clean. Nothing thin and "glassy" sounding. but I also want to use it for high gain solos.
My main influences are Trivium, Metallica, Sanctity,Static-x

Welcome! I suggest:
Miracle Man or Warpig for the bridge.
Miracle Man in the neck will work, too.

I don't think you will find any of the BK pups muddy,
The holydiver in the bridge will get crunchy and thick. MM for neck
