Title: Best p'up for my style...
Post by: Orkestra on September 14, 2007, 03:58:08 PM
Well, i've played a hell of bag of different pickups... at the moment in the bridges of my most used axes are

Dimarzio Double Whammy
Seymour Duncan Full Shred
Seymour Duncan Screamin' Demon
EMG-85

My other guitarist is using Invaders, which I hate to be honest!

I thought about getting a BKP before but never really got passed the 'hmmm what about this, no this...'

so I thought maybe if you heard one of our songs you could recommend something?

Im liking the Holydiver from what i've heard but I also really like the VHII

i like mid range grunt, a glistening high end and brutal and destructive, thumping bass

ignore the atrocious tone in this clip, just dig the music (if you do that is!)

It's a v-amp

I'd say defiantly not a Miracle Man. MM doesn't have that much mids. I think The Nailbomb would be the right choice, dough you should contact Tim and ask him for an opinion.

You're right.  The Miracle Man has a lot of bass and high mids.

From the pickups listed and description I am thinking Nailbombs, and from the clip I am thinking Warpigs.
