that looks lovely, how does it play, how's it sound etc? Comon full details mate! :)
-
well i only just finished yesterday but iv been having a good play today. its really nice to play and the sounds that it makes are rather gorgeous. theres a tned filter in there that takes the mids out for an almost acoustic type sound, but iv only wired that to the neck pickup, so you cn go from acoustic to electric by flicking the selector switch. and its all passive too, no batteries.
the p92s are amazing, and with the tone rolled off theres a real old time rock and roll sound. i love it, shame i have to give it to its owner. damn it

Stunning!
Love the inlay and the curves on the body.

hey hooglebug, i think us builders may be taking over the BKP forum
You guys should see hooglebugs mirrortops!!!
-
wow, that's awesome!
-
hehe hey wez. well i thought as im using bk pups i might as well chip in on here too. so i did.
and as wez mentioned them i may as well put the mirror ones on. and yes i know, im a copycat
this was the third guitar i ever made after a gap of about 5 years since the last one. one day when i can afford to i'll upgrade the pups to bks

and this is the other one. the other three fuzz factory controls are round the back in a little trough type thing. the pups are p92 and a miracle man

EDIT: and as for you hooglebug, that is a stunning piece of art. Maybe we should start a builder's sticky? Everything from Warmoth to Handmade from scratch...
EDIT 2: those mirrortops are somethin else...i really need to plan my posts out better

LOVE the inlay!

That inlay is very cool. I love the guitar design, too. It reminds me a little of a Fano Satellite, but the quirky carves are a nice touch. Top luthi-ing! ;)

a little noodling video to show the sounds it makes
